A very unusual Edwardian silver Box of rounded rectangular form with two compartments with sprung closure and a central swiveling cover, each compartment with gilded interior divided into seven sections (14 in total), with wire guard rings.

The cover engraved - Thomas Redford, 24th April 1910.

The registered design number - 555260, reveals that this box was intended for use with Tobacco cartridges or plugs.
