A rare and unusual George III cast silver Wine Label of rectangular scroll form with gadrooned border, incised for Port.

Unmarked, but from a known set of labels by Hester Bateman, London, c1775

N.B. The majority of scroll labels sweep upwards from left to right, only rarely do the descend in the opposite direction as is the case with this label.
