A rare early Victorian novelty silver sliding Propelling Pencil made in the form of a Harp, with foliate scroll engraved decoration and attached suspension ring, the screw off terminal set with a white agate seal stone. Engraved with a registered design lozenge for the 6th October 1843.

The design registered by L & S Sargeant of Birmingham.
