Victorian Novelty Silver 'Police Bullseye Lantern' Sewing Etui / Vinaigrette

A fine and rare Victorian novelty silver Sewing Etui combined with a Vinaigrette to the base, modelled as a Policeman's Bullseye Lantern. The lens with intaglio monogram, the hinged cover opening to reveal a tape measure, bobbins, needle case and pin holder, the hinged base opening to reveal the Vinaigrette with silver gilt grill and interior. Attached handles and swivel clip.
