A very fine Victorian silver egg shaped Sewing Etui, the partly fluted body profusely chased and engraved with exotic birds amongst foliage. The hinged cover opening to reveal the gilded interior fitted with two bobbins, a tape measure, a pin holder and a needle case. Also containing a slightly later thimble (by Henry Griffiths, Chester 1887). Suspension ring to lid.
