An unusual late George II /early George III mid 18th century silver Mote Spoon, the plain tapering handle terminating with a long diamond point finial, the short single drop engraved with an initial letter 'S', the wide oval bowl intricately pierced and engraved with a rococo shell pattern, scrolls, serifs and a fleur-de-lys and enhanced with foliate engraving on both sides.
