Robert Gray & Son, Edinburgh 1812
Photo 1 of 17

An extremely rare pair of George III Scottish silver Wine Labels made in the form of foxhounds, standing on plain narrow rectangular bases with foliage surmounts, incised for Port and Claret. The kennel names of the hounds engraved on their collars - 'Sancho and Betsy'.

By Robert Gray & Sons, Edinburgh, 1812.

It is clear from the modelling that Sancho is a dog and Betsy is a bitch.
