A good Victorian novelty silver Vinaigrette made in the form of an Acorn, the chased cup forming the cover with attached suspension ring, the body perfectly plain and forming the nut. The silver gilt interior with pierced hinged grille with Celtic style decoration.

Also stamped with the retailer's mark of John Cooper, 41 St James's Street.
