An extremely unusual and fine quality Victorian silver gilt mounted double ended ruby glass Scent Bottle, the large cylindrical bottle with faceted sides, the two silver gilt covers formed as British Military Shako Helmets of ""Stove Pipe"" form. The sprung hinged covers with internal metal plates stamped with Mordan trade marks and covered with glass lenses. The sprung tops are opened by depressing the star shaped badges on the helmets.

Condition
In good condition with no damage or repair, one spring opening mechanism a little sticky. One glass bottle contains some probably contemporary smelling salts balls, which have clouded the glass slightly.
