An extremely fine and rare Victorian silver castle-top Vinaigrette of rectangular form with engine turned decoration to the base and sides and a vacant cartouche, raised foliate borders. The lid with raised scene depicting Lincoln Cathedral in very high relief on a textured ground. Silver gilt grille pierced with foliate scrolls and a cornucopia to each corner. Complete with original velvet lined Morocco leather case.
