A very fine circular Worcester shallow Finger Bowl Stand with an irregularly-cut lobed rim and carefully painted in pale blue in the Chinese style with a cormorant perched on a tall rock, its wings outstretched, observing a man fishing from a sampan. To the right is a flowering tree peony growing from the river bank and flanked by large leaves. The ""Cormorant"" pattern I.B. 28.
