George III Silver 'Peace of Paris' Vinaigrette

A rare George III silver Vinaigrette of curved rectangular form with canted corners, the cover with edges of cross hatched decoration and a central vacant cartouche surrounded by engravings of Peace and Bourbon flags, pitch fork, rake, sacks, beehive, barrel, cornstooks and a laurel wreath, to commemorate the Peace of Paris, ending the Napoleonic Wars and signifying peace and plenty. The silver gilt grille pierced with a flower head.
