A very rare Victorian silver telescopic Propelling Pencil modelled in the form of a Rowing Boat, with oars, rowlocks and movable rudder. The interior originally gilded with traces remaining.
Unmarked, but almost certainly by Sampson Mordan c1880.
Extended 72mm long. Closed 47mm.
