A fine and rare 19th century sterling silver and enamel Vesta Case made in the form of rolled up copy of the Scientific American Newspaper wrapped with an address label complete with enamel stamp and post mark. The reverse enamelled with three red dots to simulate sealing wax. The inner lip with patent registration date - October 14th 1890.
