A George V novelty silver life size Parisian baby shoe, finely detailed and faithfully replicating the original embroidered silk shoes with strap and button closures and rosettes to the toes, the base of the shoe engraved with the baby's name 'Molly', and the size 'Extra' with 'L' and 'F', presumably for left foot.
By Elkington & Company, Birmingham 1915.
The details are so exact that the shoe would seem to have been electro-typed, a process in which Elkington and Company specialized.
