An extremely rare George II cast silver Wine Label of Bacchanalian “Two Cupids with Jug and Bottle” form, the scrolled nameplate incised for CAPE. This is probably the earliest known wine label with the title Cape.

By Sandilands Drinkwater (2nd mark), London c1750-60. (Maker’s mark only struck twice)
