A fine and rare pair of Victorian novelty silver Propelling Pencils made in the form of Percussion Dueling Pistols, the trigger guards sliding to extend the pencil. Attached suspension rings. Complete with associated silk and velvet lined leather case. One pistol is gilded to differentiate.

Stamped : S Mordan & July 6th 1840. The barrels are also stamped with the number 353.
