An extremely rare Victorian three piece Batchelor's Nesting SILVER Tea Set, designed by Christopher Dresser and of plain circular form, the teapot with a rattan handle. The cream jug and sugar bowl 'nesting' inside the pot.
By Hukin & Heath, London, 1883. Also stamped with a diamond registration mark for 18th September 1879.
These nesting sets are rare in silver plate and exceedingly scarce in silver.
