An unusual Edwardian silver and copper mixed metal Letter Clip or Desk Tidy, made to commemorate the Accession of Edward VII to the thrown on January 22nd 1900. The hinged clip set with a copper panel depicting The King of Great Britain and Emperor of India at his coronation. Set on a moulded wooden base.
