Edwardian Cast Silver Wine Label 'Abricotina' Royal?

Daniel & John Welby, London 1901
Photo 1 of 5

A rare Edwardian heavy cast silver Wine Label of narrow rectangular form with raised border interspersed with acanthus leaf motifs, incised for Abricotina (A French liqueur flavored with apricots and an unusual title).

By D & J Welby, London, 1901.

This label is very similar in design to those made for the Royal Service in Buckingham Palace, originally by Paul Storr and later produced by the Garrards. It may well have Royal connections.
