A good quality Edwardian Provincial silver Vinaigrette, of deep rectangular form with raised chased borders and engine turned decoration to the lid and sides, plain silver base and circular cartouche to the lid engraved with contemporary initials, attached suspension ring to one side. The silver gilt interior with foliate scroll pierced grille and complete with original sponge.
