A very fine quality Edwardian silver Cigarette Case of curved rounded rectangular form with push-button sprung opening mechanism and hinge, the gilded interior with elasticated retaining straps, the face with very finely painted equestrian scene depicting four horses and jockeys in a point-to-point steeplechase jumping a ditch. Complete with silk and velvet lined fitted leather case with retailers name for Wheatley & Son, Carlisle.
