A good early George II silver rat-tail Mote Spoon with plain tapering handle and diamond point finial, the bowl pierced with scrolls and serifs and engraved with contemporary initials G over I R.
Makers mark hard to decipher but possibly that of Ed Lee, London, c1729 (Grimwade 605).
