An unusual George III Irish silver Wine Label of shaped rectangular or cartouche form with feather edged border and engraved floral devices, incised for Port.
The suspension chain attached with a scrolled clip to one end (typically Irish).
Makers mark only - 'S T' in a serrated punch struck twice, probably for Samuel Teare, Dublin, c1800
