An exceptional George III silver gilt Vinaigrette of very large size and rectangular form with raised foliate borders, the plain base with engraved foliate border, the lid with a raised chased scene on a matt background depicting a Shepherd Boy playing a flute surrounded by farm animals. The interior with superbly pierced grille depicting a swan swimming beneath an arch with flowers above.
