A fine quality George IV cased silver & Mother of Pearl Folding Fruit Knife and Fork, the mother of pearl scales with engraved hob-nail decoration, applied oval silver cartouches engraved with script initials. The associated silver gilt Hanoverian fancy-back Teaspoon by William Withers, London c1760. The terminal engraved with the same script initials as the knife & fork and dated 1828, when presumably the set was put together.

Complete with silk and velvet lined Morocco leather fitted retailers case for Thomass, New Bond Street.
