An extraordinary pair of early Victorian large cast silver Sugar Tongs, the pierced bow formed from fruiting vines, a Chinaman holding a bird to one arm and another character to the other, flower heads and foliage to the bottom of the arms with acanthus leaf bowls. The cartouche to the bow engraved with a crest of a Gryphons head.
