George III Silver "Little Boy Blue" Nursery Rhyme Vinaigrette

An extremely rare and fine quality George III silver Vinaigrette of rounded rectangular form, the base engraved with a vacant oval cartouche, the cover engraved vertically with the nursery rhyme character "Little Boy Blue" blowing his horn and with sheep lying at his feet. The silver gilt grille pierced with scrolls and a central basket of flowers.
