A very early and rare pair of Derby Figures depicting a recumbant Ewe and Ram, on scroll moulded bases, highlighted in polychrome enamels. c1756-57.
Ewe 110mm long x 50mm high, Ram 115mm long x 68mm high.
Restoration to Ram: Right horn restored, chip to left horn has been filled. Right ear rejoined, retouch to left ear. Restoration to Ewe: Firing crack to right foreleg rejoined, retouching to ears.
