A good quality small pair of Victorian silver gilt Sugar Tongs in Stag Hunt pattern, depicting a stag being brought to ground by a huntsman and his dogs.

London, 1876. No Makers mark, but quite probably by The Lias Brothers.

Stag Hunt pattern was designed and made by Paul Storr for the Royal goldsmiths Rundell, Bridge & Rundell during the Regency period.
