A very rare Victorian silver telescopic Propelling Pencil modelled in the form of a Rowing Boat, with oars, rowlocks and movable rudder. The interior originally gilded with traces remaining.
Unmarked, but almost certainly by Sampson Mordan c1880.
Extended 72mm long. Closed 47mm.

Condition
In fine condition with no damage or repair just minor surface scratches. In full working order, just a little stiff to open.
