A presently unique large William IV fine quality silver Vinaigrette of rectangular form with raised foliate chased borders, the lid with inset mother of pearl panel carved with a portrait of Queen Victoria in high relief, the base with plain mother of pearl panel. The silver gilt grille pierced with four scrolling fronds and four flower heads. Probably made to commemorate the accession of Queen Victoria in 1837.
