In Carrington & Hughes (The Plate of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, London, priv.print for the Goldsmiths' Company, 1926) there were 95 labels, one
probably mislaid because in 1970 there were 96 again - as follows - 14 (no date); 8
(1784); 1 (1805); 13 (1806); 2 (1813); 18 (1820); 18 (1846); 22 (1854).
It was decided to reduce the number and 46 were sold in 1970 and therefore today we
have the following:
