GEORGE KNIGHT, London 1825
Photo 1 of 5

An extremely rare George IV Britannia Standard silver Wine Label of cut-cornered rectangular form with double reeded border, incised for Sherry.

By George Knight, London, 1825.

This is one of just two recorded examples of 19th century Wine Labels made using the higher Britannia Standard silver. It was presumably made to special order. See Wine Labels 1730 - 2003 by John Salter, page 135.
