An extremely rare Georgian Scottish Provincial silver mounted sycamore wood and ivory Aide Memoire, the rounded rectangular covers swiveling open to reveal six ivory pages, the hinged silver clasp with scallop shaped mounts and engraved - ""James Hogg, Paisley"". The rounded edge with silver spine recessed to accept a contemporary hexagonal silver sliding pencil.
