A rare set of four late 18th century Colonial / Provincial silver Wine Labels of large broad rectangular form with feather edge borders and devices to each corner, incised for Mountain, Madeira, Rum and Lisbon (with larger capital letters).
Makers mark only 'W E', c1780 (unattributed).
A similar example for Vydonia, and possibly from the same set, is illustrated in Wine Labels 1730-2003, by john Salter, page 50, fig' 124.
