A rare Victorian 9 carat gold novelty Stamp Case made in the form of an envelope, with hinged lid and attached suspension ring, the face engraved with the owners name - J. H. Hamilton Esq, Johannesburg, and with enamel one penny lilac stamp cancelled and dated in London, February 14th 1892.
Marked 9 carat gold, but no makers mark c1892.
