An extremely rare Victorian novelty silver Vesta Case, made in the form of an Egyptian Sarcophagus, the reverse engraved with hieroglyphics. Attached suspension ring. A striker to the base.
Fully hallmarked on both parts, by Saunders & Shepherd, Birmingham 1886. Also stamped with registered design number: 65757.
