		A rare Victorian novelty silver telescopic Propelling Pencil, finely modelled and cast in the form of a Seal, with attached suspension ring. Pulling the tail fins extends the pencil.
The barrel stamped with the retailers mark of James MacMichael, South Audley Street, London W1. Probably made by Sampson Mordan.

							In good condition with no damage or repair. The pencil nozzle possibly replaced and the drive pin not functioning.
