Rare William IV Irish Silver Vinaigrette

Richard Sherwin, Dublin 1835
Photo 1 of 8

An extremely rare William IV Irish silver Vinaigrette of very plain flat rectangular form with canted corners, the silver gilt interior with a simply pierced hinged grill.

Irish Vinaigrettes are not at all common and although it has now been established that more were made, Eric Delieb in his book 'Investing in Silver' states; ""Only two Dublin made Vinaigrettes have ever been noted"" (page 114).
