An unusual set of five George V silver Menu Holders of pierced form on hinged 'D' shaped bases, made in the form of year dates all ending in '8' and spanning the years 1888 to 1928, one for each decade. Also engraved with the dates 28th March (4) 5th April (1).
Possibly made to commemorate a Military occasion or dinner?
