A fine quality and unusual early Victorian silver Vinaigrette of large rounded rectangular form with raised serpentine thumbpiece, engine turned decoration to the lid, sides and base, a ""locket"" of five strips of plaited hair inset into the cover behind a bevelled glass panel, the silver gilt interior with finely pierced grille with ""dog-tooth"" border.
