A very fine and heavy quality Victorian 18 carat gold Propelling Pencil, the perfectly plain tubular body stamped - R & S Garrard & Co 18ct. The screw off seal terminal opening to reveal a lead reservoir and set with a plain bloodstone seal. The raised and enamelled slider button formed as a white York rose.
