A very finely engraved mid Victorian silver Card Case of shaped rectangular form, both sides divided into sections with multiple different styles of engine turned decoration, foliate scrolls, flowers and shells. The reverse with a shaped cartouche engraved with contemporary script initials, the face engraved to the centre with an overflowing vase of flowers and fruit. The hinged lid opens to a leather lined interior with the addition of a silver propelling pencil.
