A rare Victorian German silver combined Letter and Coin Balance with an Everpointed Propelling Pencil reversibly fitting into the casing at one end and a seal terminal to the other, the body with reeded decoration. The balance graduated 1D to 4D & SW.

Stamped: John Sheldon 1207 APl 22 1842.

In good condition although the drive pin for the pencil is not functioning and it is a little loose when reversed and fitted into the case.
