A fine and delicate early Victorian gold ladies sliding Propelling Pencil, the hexagonal body with hand engraved foliate scroll pattern. The slider ring set with turquoise beads and the shaped terminal also set with turquoise beads and an amethyst seal stone engraved - 'Salvadora'.
Unmarked c1840. The nozzle engraved for an 'M' size 1.02mm lead.
