A fine quality Victorian Neo Classical silver Vinaigrette of oval form with attached suspension ring and two raised thumb pieces to one side, the top and the base with cast and chased panels depicting Roman or Greek Goddesses, possibly Venus or Aphrodite. Hinging at the centre and opening to reveal a gilded interior with foliate scroll pierced grille.
