A very rare Victorian novelty 10 carat gold six-drawer telescopic Propelling Pencil made in the form of a Plumb Bob or Spinning Top, each section graduated to fit one inside the other when opened or closed. the circular body with attached suspension ring and reeded decoration. Engraved - 'J.R.A., XMAS 1875'.
By Hamilton & Co, Calcutta, c1873. Stamped with a diamond registration mark and the ""Mordan Arrow mark"".
