An extremely rare Victorian novelty silver Propelling Pencil in the form of a ‘Straight-Pull' Cork Screw with turned ivory or bone handle complete with badger hair dusting brush. The pencil propelling on a twist mechanism.

Unmarked but stamped with a diamond registration mark for 11th September 1880. Probably by Sampson Mordan & Co, c1880.
