A Victorian novelty silver and enamel Vesta Case made in the form of a De Villar Y Villar Cuban Cigar Box, the rectangular case with sprung flat-top hinged lid, the reverse engraved with presentation inscription, a striker to the base.

Probably by Horton & Allday, Birmingham, 1887.

A De Villar Y Villar was a prestigious pre-embargo Cuban cigar brand known for high quality.
